Over the May Long Weekend I did not go to any local stand up comedy shows because I was not laughing at the idea. For the past eight months performing stand up comedy, I found myself not in love with it anymore. At first I was worried, at first I was upset and at first I thought I wanted to quit. I would soon realize that I just wanted to take it easy for a little bit. I have been performing eight months every weekend. I never really had a full weekend with my family, and that is what I was actually missing. On Sunday I made the call to not show up even to just watch a show because I wanted to hangout with my family. If you are new to Blind Guy Comedy I have four kids and my amazing wife. It is so easy to fall in love with performing Stand Up Comedy, but it is even easier to forget about those you love for Stand Up Comedy. When I realized what was going on in my own head, I thought it would be best to take a small vacation from Stand Up Comedy. That is okay if you ask me.
